Mexico

In 2012, Mexico was the second country to introduce legislation that targets domestic greenhouse gas emissions reduction, and shows potential as a leading developing nation in the energy transition. However, despite seeing growth in wind and solar generation with the potential for more, the nation remains a major producer and exporter of oil.
