Gina Kim, an Emmy-nominated producer for legendary journalist Bill Moyers, has joined the board of directors of the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis. During her career in television, she has covered breaking news stories and produced interviews for NBC, CBS, MTV, Bravo and PBS. Kim was the supervising producer of GRITtv with Laura Flanders, a daily political news show, and has produced for Moyers & Company, NOW with Bill Moyers, Donahue on MSNBC, and The Awful Truth with filmmaker Michael Moore.
“We’re honored to have Gina join the board of the Institute,” said Board Chair Larry Shapiro. “Gina has a keen eye and deep understanding of political and economic issues, and her experience as a top-notch television journalist will help to build on the organization’s strengths. She also has valuable experience working with non-profit organizations, both as a board member and on the staff.”
