IEEFA welcomes Tim Buckley

TimBuckley - Arkx SMThe Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis welcomes Tim Buckley  as the Director of Energy Finance Studies, Australasia.

Tim Buckley has 25 years of financial markets experience, having spent the majority of this time as a top-rated equities research analyst in Australia, with some time covering global and Asian equity markets. Buckley is co-founder and managing director of Arkx Investment Management, an investor in leading global-listed clean energy companies. Additionally, Arkx consults in the low carbon finance sector, providing an international perspective into the Australian market. Tim was with Citigroup for 17 years, culminating in his role as Managing Director and Head of Australasian Equity Research for the last six years. He is highly experienced at analyzing and valuing listed equity investments.

Along with Tom Sanzillo, Buckley co-authored the report Stranded – A Financial Analysis of GVK’s proposed Alpha Coal Project in Australia’s Galilee Basin and Remote Prospects: A financial analysis of Adani’s coal gamble  in Australia’s Galilee Basin.
