Randi is IEEFA's Energy Finance Specialist, Indonesia, with experience spanning engineering, project management, and financial analysis across the oil and gas, hydrogen, and renewable energy sectors.
He is passionate about advancing Indonesia’s clean energy transition and applies both technical and financial perspectives to evaluate the feasibility and investment potential of energy projects.
He previously worked on offshore oil and gas infrastructure installation projects, and contributed to the design and integration of hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer systems for power generation. His background combines hands-on engineering with project finance and policy analysis, enabling him to assess energy investments through a systems-level lens.
Randi is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), recognized for bridging technical, economic, and policy considerations to support sustainable energy development. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and padel and is always up for a friendly match.
