Randi is IEEFA’s Energy Finance Specialist for Indonesia, with experience spanning engineering, project management, and financial analysis across the renewable energy, hydrogen, and oil and gas sectors. He applies technical and financial perspectives to assess the feasibility and investment potential of energy projects supporting Indonesia’s clean energy transition.

Before joining IEEFA, Randi worked with the USAID Sustainable Energy for Indonesia’s Advancing Resilience (SINAR) program, where he supported government stakeholders through financial modeling, tariff competitiveness analysis, and technical and strategic planning discussions to inform energy policy and decision-making. Previously, he worked at HyAxiom on the design and integration of hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer systems for power generation, and earlier in his career on offshore oil and gas infrastructure installation projects.

Randi holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). 

Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and padel and is always up for a friendly match.
