Subham Shrivastava is a Climate Finance Analyst at IEEFA, where he is dedicated to advancing the understanding of India's financial landscape and sustainable finance models in the context of Energy Transition initiatives. His role involves not only delving into policy impacts but also designing robust research methodologies to assess their effects.
Subham has previously interned with Climate Policy Initiative as a part of its Climate Finance Team, where he studied innovative Blended Finance models in India and the regulatory challenges these models face. Subham also assisted CPI’s Lab proponents on their funding requirements. Subham was also part of CEEW’s Sustainable Food Systems’ team where he developed innovative methodologies for Stakeholder Consultations and studied the sustainable finance flows in the Agroecological space in India.
Subham was recognized as one of the Top Youth Leaders of the World by UNESCO-MGIEP India and has a history of leading discussions on Climate Change and International Trade at numerous Youth Conferences held across South and South East Asia. Subham's conviction is rooted in the idea that by closely following the flow of funds, we can effectively contribute to resolving the predicament of climate change.
Subham holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi and is pursuing his Master’s from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. Outside of his professional endeavors, Subham is a self-proclaimed expert with a 100% synchronization rate in all Assassins' Creed video games ever released. He also possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of random facts about the Lord of the Rings.
