Shu is IEEFA's Sustainable Finance Analyst, Asia. She covers sustainable finance developments across the region, including sustainable bond markets, ESG capital flows, taxonomies, carbon markets, and broader climate finance trends.
Before joining IEEFA, she was a senior rating analyst at Malaysia’s leading credit rating agency. She primarily covered the financial institution and non-bank financial institution sectors, with some exposure to corporate ratings.
Shu holds a Master of Science degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance and Economics from Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
