Taewook Huh is a Climate Finance Specialist at IEEFA, possessing extensive experience in ESG management, sustainable development policy, and green technology investment across Asia and beyond.
Prior to joining IEEFA, his work involved evaluating the ESG management and overall efficiency of public corporations as a professor of national universities in South Korea, leading efforts to establish a comprehensive framework for the National Sustainable Development Indicator in South Korea. He also conducted research on climate change, green growth policy, and digital transformation.
His international project experience includes managing large-scale overseas green growth projects, such as Waste-to-Energy and Carbon Capture and Utilization initiatives in the Dominican Republic and the Philippines, and undertaking feasibility studies for energy self-sufficient island projects in the Caribbean and Laos.
Huh holds a PhD in Policy Studies from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom, and a Master of Urban & Regional Planning (MSc) in Seoul, Korea.
