Molly Ornati is an environmental activist who co-founded 350Brooklyn in 2015 and has worked on the TIAA-DIVEST! campaign for the past two years.
Her professional career has focused on the design and practice of methodologies of financial empowerment. As the Director of the Latin American Program for international NGO Trickle Up, she implemented micro finance programs providing training, capital and establishment of revolving credit programs with rural women in Central America, Mali and India. In New York, Molly served as Assistant Director of Financial Inclusion at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, managing a team of financial counselors and designing accessible programs on debt management and investment.
Previously, she worked as a journalist for the Associated Press in Venezuela, and in documentary film, producing cultural programs for PBS.
