Lachlan Wright is a Manager with RMI’s Climate Intelligence Program, where he focuses on efforts to reduce emissions in heavy industry. His work includes developing and deploying carbon accounting frameworks within industrial sectors like steel and aluminum to enable development of a differentiated commodities market with low embodied emissions for these products.
Prior to RMI, Lachlan worked as a Senior Engineer at Hatch in Australia, focusing on the development of base and battery (i.e., lithium and nickel) metals projects. He specialized in the delivery of feasibility studies, including process design and techno-economic modeling.
Wright has a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from University of Queensland.
