Kartikeya Singh is Director of Network Leadership at the Growald Climate Fund. He previously served as Director of the Global Electricity Initiative at Climate Imperative Foundation and Director of Programmes at the SED Fund.
An ecologist by training, he appreciates varied perspectives, approaches, and skill sets that individuals and institutions can uniquely contribute to addressing the climate crisis. To inform his own strategies, Kartikeya leverages his extensive experience being in or engaging with government, research institutions, intergovernmental organizations, civil society and industries in the sustainable development sector. He has travelled from the Arctic to the Antarctic, exploring the challenges of energy geopolitics in a changing climate.
Kartikeya received his B.S. in ecology and sustainable development from Furman University, his M.E.Sc. from Yale University’s School of the Environment, and his Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Born in Jodhpur, India and brought up in the U.S. midwest and southeast, Kartikeya currently resides in Washington, D.C.
