Karishma Joseph is a communications professional with experience shaping narratives around climate action and social impact. At IEEFA, she leads communications across South Asia, spanning editorial, media outreach, and regional strategy, and builds engagement with key audiences in the region and beyond.
Before joining IEEFA, Karishma led communications for CLASP's Asia portfolio, managing external engagements for energy efficiency and clean energy access programmes across Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Thailand. She led the organisation's COP29 delegation and helped publish a study on the environmental dumping of inefficient room air conditioners in Southeast Asia.
Karishma holds a BA with dual honours in Law and International Relations from the University of Exeter, UK.
Outside of work, she bakes copious amounts of cake, curates Spotify playlists, hosts board game nights, and seeks out hidden cafés around New Delhi.
