Julie Gasper is IEEFA’s Finance and Operations Manager and oversees the finance and compliance functions for IEEFA Australia, Ltd including procurement, contracts, accounting, payroll, insurance, and organizational recordkeeping. Julie also provides global operations support for IEEFA Inc. including grants and development, internal communications, travel and events planning, and risk management. She works to promote overall organisational effectiveness for both IEEFA Australia and IEEFA, Inc.
Before joining IEEFA, Julie gained broad operational experience in the environmental consulting, human services, and insurance sectors and developed strengths in planning, problem solving, organisation, and risk management. Throughout her career, she has utilized these strengths to drive the implementation of thoughtful and efficient procedural change. In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Resources Management, she holds a Master Baker certificate and has owned and operated a specialty bakeshop in the US prior to moving to Australia. In her free time, Julie enjoys hiking, swimming, baking cookies to share with friends, and fortifying her garden’s defense systems against the local wallaby population.
