Christian Vanizette

Co-Founder at MakeSense

Christian Vanizette is the co-founder of makesense.org and an Obama Foundation scholar at Columbia University.

MakeSense is a non-profit leading citizen engagement programs and incubators for social entrepreneurs in 45 countries. Makesense also runs a 100 million-euro impact investment fund. After 10 years of working towards a more sustainable economy with MakeSense, Vanizette is now passionate about the climate crisis and efforts to stop major polluters.

In recent months, he has been actively involved in campaigns against EACOP in France, mobilizing community and other groups. Regroop.club is a result of that work: a new app that enables citizens to take daily action to stop major carbon emitters. Vanizette comes originally from Tahiti, French Polynesia, a group of islands existentially threatened by climate change.
