Beth Cook is Business Resource Librarian at IEEFA. Beth manages the electronic resources for IEEFA and partners with analysts on evaluating and maintaining resources, locating information, and other projects.
Beth has more than 10 years of experience as a senior research librarian for the Congressional Research Service (CRS) in Washington, D.C. There, she worked on congressional requests for information regarding energy and environment. She co-authored reports on topics such as federal renewable energy incentives, and alternative fuel and advanced vehicle technology Incentives. She also has experience working at several academic libraries, including several years as Earth Sciences Librarian at the Pennsylvania State University.
Beth has published articles in the library literature, congressional reports and memos, a book chapter and presented at numerous national and local conferences.
Beth holds a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
She loves traveling and animals, and one day hopes to go to Chiang Mai to volunteer with an elephant sanctuary.
