Antonio Tricarico graduated from Rome La Sapienza University as an energy engineer and conducted his thesis at the Italian National Environmental Agency on modeling for how to account for greenhouse gas emissions throughout the entire Italian energy system. After many years as an organizer with Greenpeace and Amnesty International Italy, Tricarico began coordinating theCampaign for the Reform of the World Bank project in 2001, which spun off into the association,ReCommon.
He has become a widely recognized leader within Italian and European civil society on energy, finance, and infrastructure and consistently writes on these topics for several Italian media outlets. Tricarico has testified at several hearings held by the Italian and European Parliaments, and contributed to several publications on sustainable development.
