A new 40-minute film documents the six-year campaign by a remarkable coalition of citizen activists and environmental organizations across West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina to stop construction of the Atlantic Coast gas pipeline. The $8 billion pipeline, which was cancelled in 2020, would have destroyed ecosystems and been especially harmful to Black and Indigenous communities in these states. Following the film screening, coalition organizers will share how they waged and won the campaign.
