Cathy Kunkel

Cathy Kunkel is the Energy Program Manager at CAMBIO PR, a non-profit organization based in Puerto Rico that designs, promotes and implements sustainable policies and practices. 

Cathy also served as an IEEFA Energy Finance Analyst for 7 years, researching Appalachian natural gas pipelines and drilling; electric utility mergers, rates and resource planning; energy efficiency; and Puerto Rico’s electrical system. She has degrees in physics from Princeton and Cambridge.

Vinay Pabba

P. Vinay Kumar is a renewable energy veteran with a track record of having built and managed ~3000 MW of solar and wind plants in India. As COO of Vibrant Energy, Pabba heads project delivery and development for Macquarie’s renewable energy platform focused on sustainability solutions for India’s commercial and industrial sector.

Agustin Ivizarry

Agustín Irizarry teaches graduate and undergraduate courses at Universidad de Puerto Rico Mayaguez on electric power systems fundamentals, analysis, control and design, and power systems conversion.

Dr. Irizarry conducts research on renewable energy and how to adapt the existing power grid to add more sustainable resources. He has served as a consultant to communities, environmental organizations, government, and private entities and as an expert witness in civil court cases.

Gabrielle Kuiper

Gabrielle Kuiper is an energy, sustainability, and climate change professional with over twenty years’ experience in the corporate world, government, NGOs, and academia.

She was previously the distributed energy resources (DER) expert with IEEFA Australia and the DER Strategy Specialist with the Energy Security Board. Prior to that, Dr. Kuiper held senior executive or senior advisory energy-related positions in the Office of the Australian Prime Minister, at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre, and in the New South Wales Government.
