Zuhayr Ahmed is a data strategist with a strong commitment to using data to find innovative solutions and making an impact. He is experienced in managing IT systems, driving business process improvement, and analysing data to inform strategy.
Prior to joining IEEFA, Zuhayr has worked in professional associations and in public-sector consulting. He has architected systems to empower teams to make data-driven decisions while ensuring high levels of data quality. He also has provided expert analysis on emerging technology topics to support and advise research, advocacy, and policy initiatives.
Zuhayr holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of Virginia where he majored in Mechanical Engineering & History. In his spare time, Zuhayr enjoys gardening, strategy videogames and volunteering in his community.
