Ysa Calinawan is a Communications Specialist, Multimedia Design at IEEFA. As a visual communications specialist, she supports the Asia communications team by designing publications, graphics and digital content that help make research outputs clear, accessible and engaging for a range of audiences.
Before joining IEEFA, Ysa worked across nonprofit, international development, and creative sectors, designing publications, advocacy campaigns, visual identities, and communication materials for organizations focused on sustainability, public policy, child rights, and social development.
Ysa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Outside work, she enjoys illustrating, discovering local food and dive spots on her travels, and spending time with her cats while listening to records.
