As the Grants Writer for IEEFA, Stephanie collaborates with leaders from across the organization to craft compelling proposals and maintain strong relationships with funders.
Stephanie has over a decade of experience securing and managing funding for international, cross -sectoral research and non-profit programming. In her previous role as Director of Programming for a regional non-profit, she managed multiple initiatives that fostered greater sustainability and community control within the U.S. farming system. While in this role, Stephanie completed her Ph.D. in Global Development from Cornell University.
Stephanie is skilled at distilling complex concepts and strategies into approachable formats, building relationships with diverse stakeholders, and evaluating and communicating program outcomes. In addition to her Ph.D., Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Agriculture from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Iowa.
When not working, Stephanie enjoys exploring the woods with her partner and dog, knitting, and tending her ever-expanding garden.
