Serwah Asante (she/her) is the Training and Development Specialist at IEEFA.
Serwah has spent the last two decades working on international development, civil rights advocacy, decolonial practice, inclusive leadership, and training initiatives with organizations such as the United Nations Secretariat, UNDP, UNFPA, and the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational. In 2023, Serwah co-conceptualized The Decoloniality Network, a global group of decolonial practitioners dedicated to unpacking coloniality in the systems they work and live in while amplifying decolonial frameworks to build an equitable, compassionate, and care-rooted ecology.
Serwah enjoys learning, reading, traveling, good music, artistic expression that connects to the soul, self/community care, and being as close to the equator as much as possible.
