Prionka Jha joined IEEFA in November 2022 as a Media and Communications Specialist - India. She supports the IEEFA's team in India and her job includes to increase the outreach of team's analysis and reports in a simplified way to the audience.
She has worked as a news journalist for more than 15 years and specializes in Indian political news, entertainment, and feature writing. She is skilled in news writing, editing articles and reports, feature writing, social media and media relations.
Prior to joining IEEFA in November 2022, Prionka was working as a communications consultant in the Strategy & Operations Department of KPMG India. She was part of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) projects dealing with a variety of energy issues including utilities, renewables, electric vehicles and energy efficiency.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in History from Sri Venkateswara College in Delhi University.
