Pedram Sadr is an Energy Finance Analyst at IEEFA, where he examines the role of carbon capture and storage in the energy transition. His work focuses on the technical, economic and commercial assessment of CCS, including its cost, delivery and market risks.
Before joining IEEFA, Pedram worked in project development and techno-economic assessment across renewable energy and industrial decarbonisation. He contributed to feasibility and pre-FEED studies for green ammonia and methanol, as well as green steel. He also brings more recent experience in industrial wastewater treatment, remediation and emerging technology commercialisation.
Pedram did his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Newcastle, focusing on hydrogen production through methane cracking. He also holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering.
Outside of work, Pedram enjoys following developments in emerging technologies and taking long walks around Sydney.
