Greg McNevin is the Director of Communications and Engagement at IEEFA Australia where he oversees strategic and narrative development, as well as day to day communications output.
Prior to joining IEEFA, Greg worked on climate, energy, health, and conservation communications for almost 20 years, in eight countries, with organisations such as SteelWatch, Beyond Fossil Fuels, The Global Call for Climate Action, and Greenpeace International.
Greg has led communications in campaigns on Japanese whaling, the Fukushima nuclear disaster, the coal phase out in Europe and Australia, the renewable energy transition, air pollution and health, human rights, and steel decarbonisation.
A photographer in his spare time, Greg pioneered methods to make radioactive contamination and air pollution visible, and continues to explore how creative visual storytelling can be a driver for advocacy.
