Aastha Manocha is an editorial and communications specialist with over 15 years of experience across journalism and development communications.
She began her career in Indian newsrooms and shifted to communication with a focus on energy transition in South and Southeast Asia. Most recently, she has worked as an independent editorial consultant, editing technical reports on energy and environment for the Indian government’s apex public policy think tank. Her work focuses on translating complex policy and finance-related material into clear, structured, and accessible content while maintaining editorial consistency.
She has worked on communications and editorial outputs for initiatives supported by various bilateral and multilateral development organisations. Her experience includes co-editing multi-author publications, developing editorial and style guidelines, managing communications for large-scale regional events, and producing a range of content formats including reports, newsletters, and toolkits.
She holds a postgraduate diploma and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication. In her spare time, she likes to read on thinking and cognition. She also likes to relax with her pencil colouring kit.
