India’s renewable energy investments back on track after pandemic slump

The Economic Times:

After a tepid FY21 for investments in the Indian renewable energy sector, the first quarter of FY22 is back on track with funding of $6.6 billion, the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) said.

Between April and July, the investment in the sector has already surpassed $6.4 billion. The ongoing fiscal year is also on track to “easily” exceed the $8.4 billion of FY20, IEEFA added.
